Since 2012, I coördinate a variety of media literacy projects at LINC vzw, like Mediacoach (professionals learn to include media literacy in their organisation) and MO6 (librarians and their colleagues discover how they can use tablets in the library and actively improve the media literacy of their users). The third major project I coördinate is Apestaartjaren (a real Flemish expression), which is a biennial study of media possession and media use of Flemish youngsters and children. The results are presented at the also biennial Apestaartjaren conference, where about 300 participants get updated concerning youngsters and (digital) media.

Agnieszka Wolak has been working as the spokeswoman and head of communications of the Polish National Audiovisual Institute (NInA) since February 2011. As Project Coördinator for the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision I am responsible for Media Literacy events, campaigns, communication and research projects from the network organisation Mediawijzer.net. Mediawijzer.net is the Dutch centre of expertise for media literacy. This network organisation aims to increase media literacy among citizens and organisations. One of our successful projects is MediaMasters: The lifelike media experience game for the higher classes of elementary school. 80.000 children participated in 2014 and received their MediaMaster diploma.
